Val di Genova … the purity of the waters
Discover the enchanting landscape of the Val di Genova, certainly one of the most visited in the entire Trentino Region.
Known as the valley of the Waterfalls (Nardis, Casòl, Làres and Folgòrida), it is characterized by an extraordinary abundance of crystalline waters falling from the rocky glacial steps of the bottom of the valley. After 17 km, the wonderful alpine and forests landscape, with many paths and walks of every level, introduce to the ascent to the glacier of Adamello and Presanella.
The marmot and the ptarmigan, the roe deer and the chamois, the black grouse and the capercaillie are only some of the main animals constituting the alpine flora of this valley and it is not rare to encounter them. Now also the Brown Bear made his majestic return in this landscape in which he was once the undisputed king…in the same way in which, at the time, the valley was populated by witches and devils, confined there by the Vatican Council, and that, according to the legend, still roam hiding here and there, in order to not be convicted…
